Zamil Steel (founded in 1977 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia to design, manufacture and supply top quality steel buildings) set up representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and export steel buildings to SEA region through this representative office. It was founded as a 100% foreign owned company, which is a joint venture between Zamil Steel Industries and the Japanese trading giant Mitsui & Co., Ltd.

Zamil Steel Vietnam (ZSV) operates two manufacturing plants in Vietnam that produces pre-engineered steel buildings, open web steel joists, and structural steel. The first plant is located in Hanoi which was inaugurated in 1997, has the current production capacity of manufacturing 5,000 metric tons steel buildings per month. In order to congregate rapid growing demand for high quality pre-engineered steel building in the Asia-Pacific region, ZSV has constructed its second manufacturing plant located in Dong Nai province, in the southern part of Vietnam.

The plant commenced production during the year 2008 and has the production capacity of 50,000 metric tones of steel buildings per annum; boosting the total production capacity of ZSV to 100,000 metric tons per annum. Both plants in Vietnam form an integral part of the international network of manufacturing facilities of Zamil Steel Group. Besides Vietnam, Zamil Steel Group that also has manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt and UAE, making the group one of the largest manufactures of steel buildings with a total of 08 state-of-the art manufacturing facilities.

With a pool of highly skilled and efficient engineering work force, Zamil Steel offers engineering solutions to pre-engineered steel buildings, steel structures, high-rise buildings, open web steel joists and decking. Through best practices, Zamil Steel has engineered, fabricated and supplied over 5000 steel buildings in Vietnam and Asia-Pacific region.

Currently operating with 2 engineering offices with a total workforce of over 100 qualified, professional trained engineers, and utilizing cutting-edge contemporary engineering software for structural analysis and detailing, Zamil Steel Engineering Department is set to serve the customers with the shortest possible engineering cycle time, providing cost-efficient and optimum design.
